This is a really rare and unusual, which makes them a highly collectable pair of antique French ironstone Provençal deep plates or soup bowls.
These are from Provence in the 1800's and would have been used as a standard plate.
They measure 25cms (10") diameter and are 4.5cms (1.75") high.
