It’s fun to daydream once in a while. Do you ever think of France? Perhaps you know the country well or perhaps you will never visit. We dreamt of living here for years; we dreamt of our children being bilingual and going to French schools and then one day, the dream became a reality. That was nearly 20 years ago.

We live in a small French riverside village in the Department of Charente Maritime in the south west of the country. 

We are passionate about family life and we like to think we've raised a family in modern times with traditional values. Between us, amongst other things, we love boating, fishing, walking, tennis, nature, gardening, writing, photography, cooking and good food. I also have a passion for antiques and design, the juxtaposition of old and new. 

With years of experience and learning behind us we opened our vintage and antique online brocante shop, giving you the opportunity to add some unique hand picked French items to your home. A year later we opened our property search and relocation business, taking the stress and hard work out of buying a home here, we do all the hard work and you have the fun. We work with clients from all over the world and it is an enormous pleasure to find the right house and then help our buyers move in and settle into their new life here.  We also welcome guests in our charming and laid back guest cottage. So you see there's plenty going on but it's a wonderful life!
