I call these the workhorse of any kitchen. The absolute classic, the antique French stoneware confit pot, they are staples that truly a kitchen cannot be without. Whatever you choose to use them for, they are tough, robust and timeless.
We use ours beside the cooker for wooden utensils and then we have another for knives. Totally irreplaceable!
