This is a fabulous antique French demijohn in its original handmade wood case.
The handles are original also and the wood case is packed inside with the original straw inside. This incredibly labour intensive casing was used for transporting these demijohns full of wine.
It also has the original cork.
It measures 41cms (16") high.
