This is absolutely fabulous and a great look for a fabulous kitchen. It is a vintage French trug with well worn blue paint and inside there are a stunning rare collection of 11 vintage crème fraîche pots from Normandy. These date from the 1940's and were used for selling fresh Normandy cream.
These are made of waxed cardboard and have all been cleaned and sterilised and are remarkably solid. They are so unusual and would look wonderful in any French themed kitchen. The absolute genuine real deal. Imagine if yoghurts or crème fraîche came in such beautiful individual pots today!
The jars measure 8.5 cms high (3.5") approx. The trug measures 24cms long (9.5")
