This is a really lovely 19th century half glazed green confit pot. It is also glazed inside.
This pot is from the mid 1800's and the green ones are much rarer and are highly collectable. They are from the south west of France and were used for storing duck during the winter months when they were placed in the ground outside up to the glaze line. They are fully glazed inside.
It measures 26.5cms/ 10.5 inches high approx.
Please always look carefully at the photos where I have clearly shown the pot exactly as it is.
