Fabulous French Antique Ironstone Felix Potin Pot originally used as a jam pot from the 1920's and in really good condition
Unusually for these pots there are no cracks (the one I have showed in the second to last photo is merely a glazing crack, it does not go through the pot at all) and only minor chips at the base making it a really prized find. There is typical crazing but that merely adds to the authenticity and charm. Please do look at my photos carefully as they show exactly the condition.
Felix Potin opened his first grocery store in France in 1844, he became famous for the quality of his goods.
These pots are a great addition to any collection, they really are a must have and are highly collectable and getting harder and harder to find. I collect them myself and use them for flowers in the kitchen in the summer.
The pot measures 14cms (5.5") approx high
