This is an absolutely stunning, extremely rare, antique table lamp. It is a converted oil lamp of the highest possible quality, by the top oil lamp makers of the time, Hinks & Son and stamped with their name on the base. The lamp dates from the late 1800's. The electric conversion has been tested by an electrician and it takes a small sized standard screw in bulb. The lamp can be taken apart still as would have been the case when it was an oil lamp as I have clearly shown in the photo. The main body of the lamp is top quality porcelain and is Meissen style. There are one or two small bits of damage to the porcelain as I have shown in the photos, namely tiny fingers missing off the figurines. Please do ask any questions. This is a truly unique one off piece. The lamp measures a total of 40.5" cms (16") high.
