This is a really lovely antique white French Ironstone Tureen/Soupier with lid. These soupiers only get better with age, the colour, the signs of wear and tear, they all tell a story and are an intricate part of the history.
This one is in exceptionally good condition. There are no chips or cracks, the minor glazing cracks on the inside do not go all the way through.
This soupier measures 26cms high (10.25") approx, including the lid.
Excluding the lid the soupier measures 15.5cms (6.1").
Diameter excluding the the handles is 20.5 cms (8.1").
Please look carefully at the photos, as I have always tried to show any chips, cracks and crazing very carefully. These are antique well used items and utterly genuine and therefore they are not perfect as one would expect.
